Hello

     When Mindy wanted to create Santa's Baby, she knew that the illustrations in her mind for the story were way beyond her artistic talent.  Mindy had been dabbling in watercolor painting since 2020 and had joined a group called, Watercolor for Beginners.  Everyday Mindy would enjoy seeing the artists post their creations on the Facebook group.  One day she saw a painting created by Kay.  Immediately she knew this was the artist she had been hoping for.  Finally, one day Mindy gathered the courage to ask Kay if she would be interested in collaborating on the project.  Kay agreed with enthusiasm and like the magic that is Santa's Baby, it came to life!  The author and illustrator have never met and really never spoken to each other!  Over many, many private messages, they worked perfectly together to create the book.  Mindy would describe what she would like to see in the images and Kay made them come alive, often adding little elements that Mindy hadn't even thought of that made the illustrations so very special.
